Combat & Battle Displays
Our fighters are highly trained and experienced in:
- Weapons: Swords, axes, polearms, daggers, and shields
- Formations & Tactics: Shield walls, the famous “Boar Snout” formation, and large-scale medieval army manoeuvres
- Specialist Scenarios: Receiving archery volleys, facing cavalry charges, and fighting warriors from other historical periods
All our combat is fully unscripted (except when recreating specific historical battles). This creates exciting, realistic, and unpredictable displays that audiences love.
Living History Camp
We can transform any venue with a full immersive medieval encampment, including:
- Period canvas tents and awnings
- Weapon and armour displays
- Living history demonstrations: blacksmithing, woodworking, garment making & embroidery, and an apothecary/herbalist station
- Medieval games and music
Authentic Medieval Cooking
Our camp features a complete medieval kitchen with firebox, spit, tripod, pots, pans, and clay vessels. We prepare and serve authentic 13th-century food on site, creating a wonderful sensory experience for visitors.
Interactive Experiences
- Knight School – A hugely popular hands-on activity for children. Kids get to try on helmets and learn basic sword skills under safe supervision.
- Archery Taster Sessions – Supervised introductory archery using period-style equipment.
- Medieval Food Tastings – Sample authentic 13th-century recipes cooked on site
- Medieval Games – Traditional games such as nine men’s morris, and more.
- Armour & Clothing Try-On – Visitors (especially kids) can try on helmets, mail, or simple medieval garments for photos and fun.
